Dr. Tahir is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, UK.

Dr Tahir is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He is registerd with General Medical Council for General Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry with an endorsement for Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry.  He is recognised under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act as having special experience in the assessment and treatment of mental disorders.

Experience:

  • More than 20 year experience in preparing psychiatric reports for both medicolegal and insurance purposes.
  • A specialist interest in family law, personal injury and occupational stress.
  • Experienced in management of psychological issues related to work (occupational) mental health.

Special Interests:

Dr Tahir's special interests are in the field of General Adult Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Old Age Psychiatry. He has an extensive experience in managing a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders such as
