Referrals during COVID-19 pandemic:

Most insurance companies are supportive of  continuity of care during these difficult times through remote assessments through telephone or video link. Please confirm with the insurance comapany prior to the assessment. 

There are various ways to refer

1. Your GP / Consultant can email a referral directly

2. You can complete an online Contact Form yourself

Referrals from consultants in other specialities and instructions from solicitors are accepted in addition to referrals from GPs.

Dr Tahir is registered with major insurance companies such as AXA-PPP, BUPA, WPA and Pru Health. Referrals via GP are also accepted on a self-funding basis. 

Patients are advised to obtain preauthorisation from the insurance companies prior to the appointment. If you are insured with a company not listed above please enquire.

Please note that unfortunately late cancellation with less than 24 hours notice or non attendace will incur a charge. If you are unable to attend please inform with enough notice so that the appointment can be offerred to someone else.
